Video Gaming Host

Hosts serve as shift leads for the Video Gaming Area. In addition to serving as a monitor when necessary, the host greets entrants to the Video Gaming area, facilitates demos and ad-hoc organized play as necessary to promote energy and fun in the area, and circulates and engages with players and moderators to take the tenor of the area. Perform other tasks as needed by the Video Gaming Area Head or the Division staff. The Host escalates any issues to the Video Gaming Area Head and/or Division Head on duty. Shifts are available 24/4 in two- or four-hour blocks. Being able to commit to more shifts is desirable, especially premium shifts like overnight, early morning, or Saturday night, and we will do our best to schedule you with an eye toward your comfort and health. This is a position for people 18 years of age or older.
